Our Big Weekend Event

August 1-4, 2024

Help us Stuff the Bus with school supplies for kids who need them! Last year, we filled the bus with $60,000 worth of supplies. This year, let’s reach for the stars and fill it with $65,000 worth! Let’s work together to make sure every kid in SLO County has a fantastic school year!

We encourage teams from companies, PTAs, school sports, school clubs, civic clubs and other organized groups. We will need at least five volunteers for each 3-hour shift from 9-6 PM.

2023 Stuff the Bus Highlights

Celebrating Another Win!

United Way of San Luis Obispo County is pleased to announce the donation results of our 2023 Stuff the Bus School Supply Donation Drive. Thanks to 160 volunteers working over 600 hours, and a very generous community, school supplies valued at over $60,000 were contributed (10% more than last year’s goal)!

“The students were so excited to pick their new backpack and schools supplies! Thank you United Way of SLO County!”

Danilda Reyes, Teacher Coast Unified School District
